鬲式炉,仿周代铜鬲样式而来,以其简洁圆润的美感受到文人雅士的喜好，无论在庙堂礼器亦或是文房清供中均有其不可取代的地位。此件香炉以精铜为胎,上手沉实,色泽古雅,质地细腻,包浆莹润,抚之滑润,气质蕴藉,使人肃然而生敬。整炉作鬲式,器型经典,炉体矮扁,轮廓流畅,线条圆润。平口颇宽厚,沿边起线。颈部内束,腹部圆鼓,表面不作纹饰,一任光素,以铜料的的色泽与肌理为饰,颇有大道至简之意。底承三矮足,尤为敦实沉稳,托起炉身。底有落款,“月友琴居”。将其置于书斋文房案头,内燃一香,能使人心境洁净。
