明代和田玉双连印章盒，使用和田白玉，这种玉石以其温润细腻的质地而闻名，结构致密，包浆醇厚。盒子的形状通常为四方扁形，由盖和器身两部分组成，形成严丝合缝的子母扣合。器身口沿内侧有一圈凸起的槽棱与盖相吻合，上下边饰回纹，盖面中央阴刻八卦纹、四边刻三角形纹，细密的阴刻线规矩精致，整体抛光柔和细腻。盒面、盒身用深浮雕、斜刀各刻三个大如意纹饰，布满其器，满而不乱，每个如意纹占圆面的三分之一，均等而华丽；盒盖、身扣合的边缘用浅浮雕刻一圈凸起的小边饰，精神而挺拔。玉盒内部通常配有印章，这些印章也是文房书画用具，用作印于书画表示鉴定或署款。
