木雕印板，是藏传佛教艺术中很重要的一个门类，印板制作工序繁琐，一般要经火熏、水煮，晒干、刨光等工序，可几百年不变形；雕刻后放在酥油中浸泡一天，再经过防蛀处理；晾干后，一块成品印版才算完工。此件印板中心，为一匹矫健的宝马，马背上驮着燃着火焰的佛法僧三宝。印版雕刻刀法犀利，纹饰雕刻极深，惟妙惟肖，四周散落的满满的经咒，稳而不乱地排布着，工艺可谓鬼斧神雕。
