此圆炉宽口方唇，弧壁鼓腹浑圆，曲线优美，下承狮头三足，外壁腹两侧亦饰有浮雕狮首，尺寸硕大，造型端庄气派，敦实古雅。炉膛内外光洁细润，刀旋纹明显，皮色厚润沉穆，鳝鱼黄色皮，器壁光素无饰，素雅凝练，尽显铜炉之美，抚之密细滑润。底钤双龙抱「内用」两字楷书款，字体结构严谨，笔法典雅卓然，与炉身风格浑然一体，不难看出此炉出处及用度之高雅，极为罕见。
