粉彩瓷是清代瓷器中的重要品种，其烧造温度低于普通五彩瓷，彩绘时内填一种加入具有乳浊特性的砷元素的玻璃白材料，因此彩绘图案颜色柔润、浅雅温和，故又有“软彩”一称。粉彩的烧造是在古彩（原五彩瓷）的烧造工艺基础上，同时受到清代珐琅彩烧造技法的影响，两者相对结合而成的。
