Auf den Platten mit eingezogenen Ecken die Darstellung einer Begegnung von Makaken und Hirschen. Die Tiere beobachten sich gegenseitig neugierig und nehmen vorsichtig Kontakt auf. Beide Tiere werden auch als Rebus gelesen. Hirsch (lu) kann als staatliches Einkommen, der Affe (hou) als hohes offizielles Amt verstanden werden. 55 x 37cm.
