德化窑位于今福建德化，创烧于宋，流行于明清之际，其制品胎、釉浑然一体，瓷质致密，色泽光润明亮，故有“猪油白”、“象牙白”等称。德化窑器具种类繁多，香炉多为仿古铜器所做，拍品即为一例仿商周青铜鼎之作品。拍品平口出沿，口沿上置方形冲天耳，盆腹，下承三勾足，足体暗刻夔龙纹，纹饰清晰明了，腹部釉下暗刻行书“水醉客”三字。通体施白釉，釉色洁白莹润。整器造型精致小巧，又不失端庄之姿, 使人见之便觉优雅，一炉沉烟，可伴诗心清华。
