此炉仿明宣德铜炉样式，撇口鼓腹，圈足微撇，炉肩两侧饰双狮耳，狮首威严，凸目宽鼻，额头凸出，鬃毛毕现。炉身及底均施白釉，釉面白皙凝腻，整器造型规整大方，古朴典雅，可供案头陈设或随手把玩。炉底印有篆书款识“道古折简”四字，据考古记载此款式之德化炉造型与“益寿”款炉相似，均为狮首耳式。“道古”出自《史记·李斯列传》，“折简”出自《晋书·宣帝纪》，此款识应为以古醒今之意。
