此雕漆高士图盖盒呈蔗段式，造型规整，精致而不失沉稳厚重之感。器身内髹黑漆，外壁作剔红工艺，盖顶刻绘人物高士图案，画面前部，高士携一侍从坐于溪岸边上，体味自然之趣，身前溪流潺潺而过，更添清幽雅致之气，坐于松树之下，眺望远山，发挽于脑后，体形削瘦，神采奕奕，一股仙风道骨的感觉，身后一侍从端茶立于其旁；所雕松树古老苍劲，山石崇峻，虽为静止的画面，却给人以无限的遐想。远景之上，云散月出，圆月当空，使景致呈现一派淡雅清宁之势，引人抒怀。整幅图画前后过渡自然，纵深得体，层次分明，极富气韵。器身均作花卉图案，雕琢精湛，构图繁密，极具装饰色彩。此件雕漆高士图盖盒雕琢精美，山水花鸟图案各色完备。此器漆色纯正，漆质细腻，雕刻圆润，运刀娴熟，磨制光滑，图纹紧凑，当为明代漆雕工艺之精品。
