盖盒紫檀木质，方体倭角。口沿各饰纹饰一周，咬合紧实。盒盖及四面镶饰白玉，其上去地浮雕莲花纹及如意云纹。檀木面错银丝勾云纹、回纹、缠枝花纹，白玉琢磨温婉柔静，转折精细顺滑，质地精良，莹润凝练，色泽柔顺，与金边、紫檀相衬，倍感华美。此对盖盒造型简洁明快，圆润丰满，刀工精湛，打磨润泽。刻工高超，圆雕、线刻兼配，多种技法融为一体，纹饰细密精美，且技艺娴熟，游刃有余，风格古朴，别有一番韵味，且成对出现，保存完好，具有极高的艺术价值与收藏价值。
