此头盔为铁制，盔顶罩碗状鎏金镂花宝盖，上接缨管，为插放缨枪或雕翎之处，威风凛凛，霸气四溢。宝盖下环绕梵文，间以金色璎珞，精巧细致，繁密绚丽。盔边、盔檐均有鎏金，间隔饰以如意头饰。护颈、护耳为蓝缎面，内侧敷棉，面布金钉，极为讲究装饰性和美观性，乃典型的清代仪式用盔。这件拍品形制经典，兼顾实用性与装饰性，色泽深邃的铁地上搭配亮丽鲜明的鎏金镶边和饰品，在不失华丽尊贵的同时体现出一种金戈铁马的硬气，不愧是当年八旗将军所用之物，值得收藏。参阅：1、《故宫博物院藏文物珍品大系-清宫武备》，第61页，图57，上海科学技术出版社2、《故宫经典-清宫武备图典》，第80-81页，图44，故宫出版社宫廷内文-1-100-cc2014.indd 99
