A PAIR OF SANCAI POTTERY GLAZED FIGURES OF LADIES, CHINA, TANG DYNASTY (618-907) (2) This couple of figure are in very general good condition which are consistent with their age with the exception of each head that probably has been re-stuck to the body and with some very small glaze flakes- which is common for pieces of this age. 26,3 cm high, 6 cm wide Each modelled standing the full rounded face with delicately modeled and shaded features, small narrow eyes a delicate nose and with full rounded cheeks, all set below a high chignon, wearing a green scarf over a straw colored shirt and with a long amber dress falling to reveal the two upturned pointed shoes.
