A GLAZED POTTERY FIGURE OF A LADY, CHINA, TANG DYNASTY (618-907) This figure it is in very general good condition which are consistent with its age with the exception of the head that probably has been re-stuck to the body and with some very minor small flakes to the glaze- which is common for a piece of this age. 27,5 cm high, 7 cm wide Modelled standing the full rounded face with delicately modeled and shaded features, small narrow eyes a delicate nose and with full rounded cheeks, all set below a high chignon touch with some brown glaze, wearing a long creamy scarf over a straw colored shirt and with a long amber dress falling to reveal the two upturned pointed shoes.
