Meiji eraVariously inlaid with gold, silver, shakudō, shibuichi and copper: a koro and cover of flattened square baluster form with twin geometric handles and raised on four cabriole supports (one detached but present), decorated with birds, lotus, orchid and prunus, 10.5cm high; a koro of typical bombé form raised on tripod supports with band of 'flame' patination at rim above a continuous landscape in gold wire, the cover pierced with two dragons amidst clouds and with a gilt shishi, 9.5cm high; together with a pair of baluster vases each with lappet band at shoulder and raised on flaring foot, one decorated with three song birds amidst bamboo, the other with a pair of crows on a willow branch.Each 13.2cm high (6).
