Five famille rose enameled porcelain snuff bottles


19th/early 20th centuryIncluding three cylindrical bottles: one painted with the Eighteen Luohan, one painted with a scene of figures in a walled fort surrounded by additional figures in a river with crashing waves, the third painted with two opposing flower basket reserves against a turquoise ground filled with the Daoist emblems, the underside with a Qianlong mark in regular script; the fourth a flattened shield form bottle painted with fictional scenes of figures in a garden to the front and back, the lip heightened in gilt, the underside with a Qianlong four-character mark in seal script; the fifth designed with a shaped panel to each main side, one framing magpies on a flowering branch, the other inscribed with a two-line poem, with two seals, the recessed foot carrying a Guangxu four-character mark in regular script.2 to 2 7/8in (5.1 to 7.3cm) high
