Four enameled porcelain snuff bottles
19th/early 20th centuryThe first a tapering bottle with sloping shoulders, painted with magpies and blooming plum trees; the second a thin-walled ovoid bottle surmounted with a long neck, displaying a rooster in a garden, with a bird and butterfly in flight; the third a tapering ovoid bottle decorated with an eagle perching on a gnarled pine tree, the underside inscribed Hongxian nian zhi; the last of yuhuchun shape, painted with a bearded man holding a fan and looking at a dog while a young boy standing nearby holding a ruyi scepter above his head, the underside inscribed with an apocryphal Kangxi mark. 2 3/8 to 2 5/8in (6 to 6.8cm) high
