A Chinese blanc de chine pair of figures, one of Guanyin and the other a seated Budai with wooden stands. Both date from the Republic period. The Budai holds prayer beads and a bag, while the Guanyin leans on a guardian lion arm rest. Dimensions are: the Guanyin measures 7 1/2 inches tall X 7 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.
