Chinese porcelain, wucai, covered jar dating from the late 19th century. The jar is enameled with scenes of village life and the border features floral designs. The lid has a matching border and a scene of a scholar on the top. Dimensions are: 9 inches tall X 8 1/2 inches wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There is a small hairline crack in lid rim, and tiny chip in the base. Some mild chips to the interior glaze.
