A post Actium (31 BC) ceramic oil lamp with round nozzle, volute scroll to each side; the discus decorated with bare-chested huntress wearing a headdress, kneeling on top of a crocodile, holding a palm leaf in her right hand. 60 grams, 10.5cm (4"). Property of a professional Austrian gentleman; part of his private collection since the 1990s. Very fine condition.
