A ceramic oil lamp with angled nozzle, volute scroll to each side; the discus decorated with standing Asclepius, god of medicine, holding a long staff with serpent coiled around, with young Telephorus standing next to him. 58 grams, 10.5cm (4"). Property of a professional Austrian gentleman; part of his private collection since the 1990s. Very fine condition.
