A ceramic figure of a courtly attendant with short hair, layered robes with V-shaped necklines, hands folded within the bell-shaped sleeves, flared skirt, baggy trousers and rectangular shoes; pigment remaining to head, shoes and neckline; mounted on a custom-made stand. 3.8 kg, 63cm including stand (24 3/4").Property of a North London gentleman; acquired on the UK art market before 2000; accompanied by original thermoluminescence test certificate no.C119a75 issued by Oxford Authentication Ltd.
