A group of gilt-bronze and silver belt fittings comprising: a rounded buckle with attached arching pin; a square mount with projecting nail fittings to the corner, circular setting to the middle set with a garnet; a silver-gilt fitting in the form of a bird head with curving beak, eye set with a garnet; a strap end set with four panels of garnets; a buckle pin with thick body, both ends set with garnets; four with inked old collection label 90.217.(2,3,5,9) to the reverse. 24 grams total, 14-41mm (1/2 - 1 1/2"). Property of a London gentleman; formerly from a major Mayfair gallery; acquired on the London art market in 1990. [5] Fine condition.
