A Chinese Songhua ink stone from late Qing Dynasty inside a lidded dark-wood case. The stone itself is a marbled grey and tan with a shallow well for ink. surface of the stone is etched with 5 lines of a 'handwritten' style vertical text . The lid has a 3 lines of text. H: 2 1/8 in. (5.5cm) L: 10" (25.4cm) Condition: ink is in good condition only several small cracks on the underside of the wood case.
