A pair of square shaped Chinese porcelain Sancai vases that have been converted into lamps. The sides of both lamps have been decorated with botanical scenes against a sea-green background each a mirror images of its counterpart (a flowering plum branch reaching from left to right on one lamp, from right to left on the other). A gradually tapering neck rises from a flat shoulder, & ends in a flared rim which is capped with a gold metal, where the mast of the lamp extends upwards. A telescoping metal arm allows the lamp shade to be raised/ lowered above the adjustable angle twin bulbs - each with their own pull-chain. An additional power switch is located on the fabric-wrapped power cord Both lamps rest on gold-tone wooden bases. H: 20 7/8" (53cm) W: 5: (12.7cm) Condition: both in good condition with minor small dark stains in areas along the edges
