砚作六棱样，开圆月砚堂，环渠锦地海涛纹，砚背微凹，浮雕瑞兽三只，海天之间波涛汹涌，瑞兽相互嬉戏追逐，神态极为生动传神。此砚以端溪水岩麻子之石为质，青花火捺满布其间，品质细润坚密，其设计制作精妙娴熟，带有强烈乾隆朝官造之风。【铭文印记】铭文详见本场拍卖之拓片文本
