A steatite scarab with detailed carapace and articulated legs, engraved standing figure holding a tall Was-sceptre and seated figure of the goddess Maat; pierced longitudinally. 2.7 grams, 19mm (3/4"). From a private UK collection, formerly in the private collection of Bernard Pickard, The Ancient World, 1970s. Very fine condition.
