A matched pair of gold earrings, each a leaf-shaped plaque with bosses and granulation surmounted by a hollow knop, hollow-formed tiered body with bands of granulation, cluster finials. 12 grams total, 69mm (2 3/4"). From a European collection; previously in a large American collection formed in Chicago, Illinois, USA, in 1995; previously in the Mansees collection; formed 1950s-early 1990s. [2] Fine condition; usage wear, one plaque broken.
