A matched pair of gold earrings, each a discoid plaque with ropework border, central garnet cabochon, granule and suspension hoop, dangle comprising a cluster of hollow-formed spheres with granule clusters below. 16 grams total, 54mm (2 1/4"). From a London collection; previously acquired on the UK art market in the 1980s. [2] Very fine condition.
