A mixed group of bronze mirrors comprising: a flat disc with rounded rim, loop handle to the reverse; one similar with chamfered rim, central pug handle on two pins; a disc with remains of the handle and ferrous attachment to the rim. See Roberts, P. Life and Death in Pompeii and Herculaneum, London, 2013 for discussion. 886 grams total, 10-18cm (4 - 7"). From a private collection; previously in an old central Asian collection; acquired in the late 1940s. [3, No Reserve] Fine condition.
