A ceramic oil lamp with long nozzle, volute scrolls to each side, arrow to the centre, pierced lig handle to the rear; low discus with Mercury (Greek Hermes), holding a money bag and caduceus; concentric circles to the base. 53 grams, 88mm (3 1/2"). From a private Belgian collection; previously part of a private collection formed in Germany in the 1990s. [No Reserve] Fine condition.
