2nd century AD. A silver openwork belt or harness mount comprising two stylised dolphins supporting a pair of scallops and scrolled tendrils, four mounting lugs to the reverse. Property of a European gentleman living in South Africa; acquired since the late 1980s. [No Reserve] Very fine condition.
