1st millennium BC. A shallow bronze discoid bowl with central knop, ring of radiating petals between pellets enclosing a running bull with tail curled over the rump. 499 grams, 14cm (5/ 12"). Property of a North London gentleman; previously in an important Mayfair collection, formed 1980s-2000. Fine condition, rim cracked.
