A mixed group of ten cylinder seals comprising: one with two trees and two tall standing birds, one with winged quadruped and mythical bird, one with schematic birds and the seven with linear patterns including chevron, hatched a cross designs. 47 grams total, 22-47mm (3/4-1 3/4"). The Signo collection, the property of a West London businessman, formed in the late 1980s-early 1990s; collection numbers 6803, B-94 (160), B-97 (163), R-871, T-971, T-973, T-976, V-196, W-476, W-576, academically researched and catalogued by the late Professor Lambert in the early 1990s. Dr. Bonewitz notes: 'The seals are made from limestone (6), and composition (4).' [10] Fine condition.
