A bronze harness decoration, possibly a horse blinker, decorated with two groups of winged deities with beards, horned crowns and long robes, hands raised attending a stele decorated with the Tree of Life, similar stele behind; cuneiform inscription to the upper edge; three attachment rings to the edge. 156 grams, 18.2cm (7 1/4"). Property of a European gentleman; formerly acquired on the German art market before 1980. Very fine condition.
