Ridged hoop thickening to oval bezel formed like an added plate. Subject: hippocamp, but the fish's body is not curling, but like a normal fish. Greek or Hellenistic, c. 400-200 B.C.'; (T-917) 'Bronze Finger Ring, 27 x 14 x 23mm. Stout hoop broadening to large oval bezel. Subject: standing horned animal with head turned back, bird on the wing, fillers; dotted frame. Near East, c.700-300 B.C.'; (T-922) 'Bronze Finger Ring, 22 x 9 x 28.5mm. Circular plain hoop with attached bezel with convex face and back rising sharply to a ridge. Subject: standing bird, pillar in front, fillers. Sassanian or a little later, c. 300-800 A.D.'; (T-926) 'Bronze Finger Ring, 15 x 8 x 15mm. Very small size. hoop broadens out into oval bezel. Subject: standing quadruped(?), crescent above. Parthian or Sassanian, c. 100 B.C.-600 A.D.'; (T-924) 'Bronze Finger Ring, 19 x 8 x 28. Band hoop thickens under bezel of pyramid shape with convex face. Subject: standing bird, letter above. Sassanian, c.300-600 A.D.'; (T-925) 'Bronze Finger Ring, 21 x 11 x 21.5mm. Hoop that broadens under attached round bezel. Subject: standing quadruped (lion?), branch above. Sassanian, c. 300-600 A.D.'; (T-913) 'Bronze Finger Ring, 21 x 10 x 18mm. Ridged hoop widening to oval bezel. Subject: walking bird holding snake in beak, crescent above. Near East, c. 100-300 A.D.'; (T-912) 'Finger ring of Bronze, 22 x 13 x 17mm. Broad, ridged hoop widening to thin oval bezel. Subject: two standing, facing horned animals. Sassanian, c. 200-500 A.D.; (T-916) Bronze Finger Ring, 20 x 11 x 20mm. Round thin hoop flattened below added round bezel. Subject: peacock with tail raised, plant in front. Sassanian, c. 300-600 A.D.; (T-921) Bronze Finger Ring, 21 x 9.5 x 18mm. Plain hoop broadening to bezel, which is oval. Subject: seated figure embracing standing figure.
