A ceramic statuette of a kneeling male figure in a white robe with arms bent and hands raised, ridged hairstyle gathered to the rear; the bell-shaped sleeves with returned cuffs, hands pierced to accept implements; hollow to the underside. 5.2 kg, 40cm (16"). From the Cheuk family collection, Hong Kong, 1980s; accompanied by a copy of thermoluminescence analysis report number no.C118c55 issued by Oxford Authentication, dated 4 April 2018. Fine condition, right hand repaired.
