A ceramic greyware bowl with biconvex body, flat base, rounded rim with incised line below, three radiating lugs each formed as a hooded male head with beard and collar; band of incised Brahmi(?) script to the lower body. 646 grams, 17cm (6 3/4"). Property of a London gentleman; from his father's collection formed in the late 1980s-early 1990s. Fine condition, repaired.
