A silver nummular pendant with ribbed suspension loop riveted close to the rim; the disc formed from a silver CRVX type penny of Ethelred II with profile bust, by the moneyer Eadmund at London mint. See S.1148 for coin type. 1.40 grams, 20.69mm (3/4"). From the family collection of a South East London collector; formerly acquired in continental Europe in the late 1950s. [No Reserve] Fine condition.
