A silver bracelet formed from hollow silver rods twisted about each other with decorative twisted wire; flared hammered terminals with applied silver studs and plaited wire to the outer edge, large applied silver sphere above the terminals. See silver treasure from the village of Baniska, in the Rouse Regional Museum of History. 30.5 grams, 71mm (2 3/4"). Property of a South London collector; previously acquired on the European art market 1970-1980. Five similar bracelets, five rings, two earrings and a necklace were discovered in the area of a medieval fortress near the village of Baniska, Bulgaria. Fine condition, repaired.
