A pair of silver bracelets formed from hollow rods twisted about each other with decorative wire; the terminals hammered to a triangle shape, decorated with inlaid wire and spheres, contemporary repair to one terminal. See silver treasure from the village of Baniska, in the Rouse Regional Museum of History. 86.5 grams total, 72-77mm (3"). Property of a South London collector; previously acquired on the European art market 1970-1980. Five similar bracelets, five rings, two earrings and a necklace were discovered in the area of a medieval fortress near the village of Baniska, Bulgaria. [2]Fine condition, repaired.
