A gold ring comprising a hollow-formed elliptical-section hoop with filigree coils to the shoulders, domed ellipsoid bezel with filigree ropework border, granulated field with reserved crow's foot motifs surrounding a raised central cell with inset cabochon garnet. 15 grams, 31mm overall, 21.98mm internal diameter (approximate size British Z, USA 12 1/2, Europe 28.99, Japan 27) (1 1/4"). From a London collection; previously acquired on the UK art market in the 1980s. Very fine condition. A large wearable size.
