16th-17th century AD. A silver ring comprising a broad flat-section hoop, flared shoulders, discoid bezel with low-relief fleur-de-lys with ears of wheat. Cf. Chadour, A.B. Rings. The Alice and Louis Koch Collection, volume I, Leeds, 1994, item 623. 10.54 grams, 21.95mm overall, 18.45mm internal diameter (approximate size British Q, USA 8 1/4, Europe 18.00, Japan 17) (3/4"). From an East London collector; previously in a collection formed between 1990-2000. Very fine condition. A large wearable size.
