A complete Sinohydrosaurus lingyuanensis, also known as Hyphalosaurus lingyuanensis fossil skeleton in a matrix, from the Yixian Formation, Lingyuan, Liaoning Province in Northeast China; supplied in a glazed display box. 43.2 grams, 17.3cm (7"). From a Lincoln paleontological collection. Sinohydrosaurus lingyuanensis is a more recently discovered and described (Li Jianjun, 1999, Beijing Natural History Museum) marine lizard from the famous dinosaur fossil beds of Liaoning Province, People's Republic of China. Believed to have descended from a land-dwelling ancestor, Sinohydrosaurus was a freshwater aquatic reptile. Fine condition.
