Cretaceous Period, Aptian Stage, 125-113 million years BP. A Bahariasaurus ingens tooth, a mid-sized carnivore, from the Tegana Formation, Morocco. 8.6 grams, 46mm (1 3/4"). From the collection of the palaeontologist R Gledhill, collected between 1930 and 1960. The Bahariasaurus ingens teeth are different from those of the Carcharodontosaurus in being thinner but having a thicker more triangular X-section. Fine condition.
