Rev: long cross and pellets with POSVI DEV ADIVTORE MEV and CIVITAS CANTOR legends for Canterbury mint. S. 2211; N. 1712c. 25 grams total (coin 1.25 grams), photograph 17 x 8.5cm. Property of a Kent, UK collector; ex R Dalton, Littlebourne, UK collection; loaned to and exhibited at Canterbury Cathedral. This coin, together with other coins connected with Canterbury, was exhibited at Canterbury Cathedral under the title 'Minting at Canterbury' and was loaned by Mr R. Dalton of Littlebourne; the original enlarged display photograph and descriptive card are included with this lot and digital images in-situ within the complete exhibition frame are also available.
