拍品器形周正，盘心绘粉彩牡丹、丹桂、兰花相互依偎生长，其中兰花以金彩描绘，具有点睛之效果，外壁以矾红彩绘五只姿态各异的蝙蝠翩飞。纹饰画工精细，风格清新雅致。
据耿宝昌《明清瓷器鉴定》载，经笥堂见于道光时期瓷器款识。此外，尚见有相同画意瓷器分别署“经笥堂制”和“慎德堂制”款识，且笔法一致，故有推测经笥堂或为道光皇帝另一堂号者。
成对保存良好，较为难得。 “经笥堂制”四字二行楷书款
