此式斗彩碗创烧于雍正时期（参见《宫廷珍藏：中国清代官窑瓷器》，页130），是官窑瓷器对西洋元素的巧妙借鉴，后朝沿续烧造，但均不多见。
拍品外壁满绘缠枝花卉纹，以青花勾勒枝蔓，彩料填描花叶，布局繁缛，风格华美，为道光官窑上乘之作。
