A carnelian cylinder seal with two caprides jumping forward, turning their heads backwards over their shoulders towards each other, form the centre of the image; between them a four-pointed star and three globes; next to them the stylised tree, above the winged disc. Accompanied by a museum-quality impression. 5.12 grams, 20mm (3/4"). From a private collection of seals and amulets, the property of a Canadian gentleman living in London; from his father's collection formed in the late 1960s to 1980s.
