A substantial silver ring with D-section hoop, lobe to the underside with inset turquoise cabochon, lobe to each shoulder, applied crocodile supporters on flat cruciform plaque with open mouths, discoid cell inset with garnet cabochon, intaglio crowned profile bust. 47 grams, 46.65mm overall, 18.84mm internal diameter (approximate size British R, USA 8 3/4, Europe 19.00, Japan 18) (1 3/4"). From an important London collection; acquired on the UK art market 1971-1974.
