A terracotta figurine with straight arms and legs, wearing a multistrand necklace, large headdress wrapped around the head with its ends falling on the right shoulder, recessed eyes and pinched nose. 34.3 grams, 10.2cm (4"). Ex North London gentleman; previously in the private collection of the late David Gold, formed 1980-1990s 'David Gold amassed a sizable collection of Indus Valley pottery, both vessels and figurative during his retirement, a plaque to David and his brother was recently unveiled by Westminster Council above 43 Carnaby Street, commemorating their business that made Carnaby Street synonymous with fashion in the 1960s.'
